Kevin Williams joins the Grizzlies for his first season after spending last year in the Tampa Bay Rays organization. 

The Texas native was signed as a free agent last summer and posted a 3.38 ERA with 12 strikeouts in 18.2 innings pitched. 

Williams attended LSU Shreveport for his junior and senior year. In his final season with the school, he started 15 games and struck out 65 batters in 81 innings. He finished the season with a 5-5 record and a 3.44 ERA.

Williams earned his degree in Community Health-Physical Activity in May of 2016.
