Bio
Kimes makes a return to the Frontier League for the 2016 season after being a part of the Joliet Slammers for the 2013 season.
The Illinois native will stay close to home and close to his college, the University of Illinois (NCAA D1), where he posted a career 5.03 ERA in 53 Appearances. With the Slammers, Corey went 4-7 in 15 starts with an ERA of 5.56.
Before coming to the Frontier League in 2013, he spent a pair of seasons in the Minnesota Twins organization.
