GRIZZLIE'S GLANCE: JUNE 10-16
The Gateway Grizzlies have won a season high four straight games entering Tuesday night. Monday was an off day, but this past weekend Gateway won three games against the River City Rascals. The three wins became a sweep when the fourth game of the series was rained out Sunday at T.R. Hughes Ballpark in O'Fallon, Mo.
Gateway went 1-2 during its midweek series. Florence won a double-header Wednesday, but the Grizzlies won the final game of the series Thursday evening in Kentucky.
Entering Tuesday night the Grizzlies have a team batting average of .246, and a combined 3.45 team ERA. Gateway is second in the Frontier League West at 13-7. They trail the Normal CornBelters by one and a half games.
Who's Hot: Spiker Helms is 4-for-10 during the last five games. Helms was 2-for-4 during two starts this past weekend against River City. The Wildwood, Mo. native had three singles, a double and a run scored.

The Greys...
The Frontier Greys are a traveling team managed by the Frontier League. They replaced the London Rippers who folded halfway through the 2012 season. The Greys do not have a home ballpark. All their games are played on the road. The team's home base when not traveling is Avon, Ohio.
The Greys are hitting a collective .229 so far in 2013. Four Greys have ten RBIs, and the team is led in hitting by outfielder Mark Micowski who is hitting .333.
This season the Greys combined ERA is 4.14.

The CornBelters...
Normal is off to one of the best starts in the Frontier League. Entering the week they lead the second place Grizzlies by a game and a half in the Frontier League West. In fact, as of Tuesday, the CornBelters led the entire Frontier League by half a game with Evansville was in second and Gateway in third.
Normal is hitting .250 this season. They are paced by infielder Mike Schwartz who started the week with a .346 average and seven RBI. On the mound, Normal has a 2.95 team ERA. Ryan Demmin has been their ace so far. He is 2-0 with a 1.03 ERA with 26 innings pitched.
