Kyle Gaedele enters his third season on Steve Brook's staff as hitting coach in 2025.

The last two seasons, he also served as a player-coach, suiting up for 100 total games in 2023-24, mostly in the outfield, helping the club to a pair of 59-win seasons and playoff appearances.

Before joining Gateway, Gaedele played one season with the Chicago Dogs in the American Association in 2018, and for Steve Brook with the River City Rascals in 2016, where he hit .308 with 14 homers, 17 doubles, 50 RBIs, and 24 stolen bases to help lead the team to the Frontier League Championship series.

He also played five seasons in the San Diego Padres organization, advancing up to Double-A in 2015. He was selected in the sixth round of the 2011 MLB Draft by San Diego out of Valparaiso University.

He resides in Arizona in the offseason.
