Bio

D.J. Stewart enters his fourth season with the Grizzlies in 2026, and the first as the team's hitting coach under Kyle Gaedele.

The transition follows a stellar three year playing career with the Grizzlies that saw Stewart earn Frontier League All-Star nods in each of his three seasons. He amassed 44 home runs, 223 RBIs and 53 stolen bases over his Gateway career.

Prior to the Frontier League, Stewart played five seasons in the Philadelphia Phillies organization, batting .234 with seven homers, 14 doubles, 34 RBIs, and 17 stolen bases in 18 attempts over 80 games at Class A-Advanced Jersey Shore in 2022. He was a local product, selected in the 39th round of the 2017 MLB Draft by the Phillies after starring as both a hitter and a pitcher at Westminster Christian Academy in Town and Country, MO.
