- Played three seasons at Tennessee Wesleyan University (NAIA), going 8-2 with a 2.81 ERA, 96 strikeouts, and 32 walks in 57 2/3 innings over 12 starts as a graduate student in 2025, earning First Team All-Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) honors

- Named the AAC Pitcher of the Year and a Second Team NAIA All-American as a senior in 2024, going 9-1 with a 2.16 ERA, 143 strikeouts, and 49 walks in 87 2/3 innings

- For his career at TWU, posted a 26-4 record, 2.76 ERA, 347 strikeouts, 138 walks, and just 121 hits allowed in 215 1/3 innings over 47 games (34 starts)

- Also pitched one season at the University of Arizona (NCAA D-I), with a 2.16 ERA in six appearances along with 11 strikeouts in 8 1/3 innings before the season was cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic
