FORMER GRIZZLIES CATCHER AWARDED NFHS OKLAHOMA COACH OF THE YEAR

They always say Catchers will make the best baseball managers and Breck Draper is no exception.

Draper is a former Gateway Grizzlies Catcher who recently coached his high school team to state championship glory this past May. The Heritage Hall Chargers managed to score 7 runs in the final inning of the semifinal game of the Oklahoma 2016 4A State Tournament. This took them to the championship game where they defeated Berryhill high school 2-1 to win their second straight state title.

For their successes, Draper was honored this past week with the NFHS Oklahoma Baseball Coach of the Year for 2015-16. CLICK HERE for more information on the National Federation of State High School Associations!
